Couple of my colleagues (both were postdocs at that time) at my lab got approved for EB1A through VC and associates. Also, VC already had a good reputation in the immigrant community at my lab. So, when I felt I am ready to apply for EB1A petition, I contacted NAILG. - Secure case management portal where you exchange numerous emails, questions and documents in an organized way.
- Very high standards of document preparation. Well, EB1A itself has stringent requirements for approval, so high standards in case preparation is much needed. It took me few weekends to prepare research summary according to their template. This is the most important task on applicant side. I felt more information one provides in research summary the best will be his RLs and PL.
- Excellent recommendation letter drafts. I did edited only technical content of them for more accuracy.
- I was astounded once I had seen the PL. They interlaced my achievements with most objective and statistical legal information and presented a water tight case. I am very impressed with the quality of the PL.
- They are very professional. However, sometimes I felt they are stiff with timelines and not accommodating to the changing needs of the client. They impose the retainer agreement very stridently.
- Lot of information. They have a troves of guides and manuals to prepare i140 and i485 documents. They provided detailed form filling instructions for all the forms we are supposed to fill. They also provide timely information on latest immigration trends, government notifications etc.
- Very thorough case preparation. When, I am sending i485 documents ( which is a lot of documentation) I checked them 4-5 times felt everything is alright. However, they pointed out numerous minutest mistakes. I was pleasantly surprised.
My I140 got approved in 8 days and I am waiting for i485 approval. I wholeheartedly thank VC and associates for all the professional help in case preparation.
